Tara McCabe  E-RYT 200HR

Lazy Dog Paddle Yoga Certified WPA Water Safety Level 2
Paddle Fit Level 2

Key West Paddle Board Yoga was created in September of 2007.  SUP had been on the rise in Key West and Tara was introduced to the sport by friend, Sue Cooper, owner of Lazy Dog.  The first paddle yoga class consisted of friends..yogis and non yogis..and KW Paddle Yoga was born.

In 1990, Tara began her exploration of the ocean with a trans-atlantic journey aboard the schooner Westward. She was home..the sea, the stars and the breeze soothed her soul.  Tara continued working on the water…from the Caribbean, to Newfoundland, from Alaska, to Key West .  The yoga journey began in 2001 when she was pregnant with her first child and her practice and teaching continue to evolve.  Tara presently teaches on dry land at Shakti Yoga, and SUP Yoga has allowed her to combine both of  her passions.

Tara is a 200 hour trained Yoga Shiromani of Sampoorna Yoga and has also completed a 200 hour training in the Yogic Arts system and is Paddle Fit certified as well.
